Scottish Government to roll out £65million of LFASS based on 2014 payments

Richard Lochhead announces the Scottish Government is to start rolling out £65 million of Less Favoured Area Support Scheme (LFASS) money to hill and sheep farmers based on their 2014 payments.

Nicola Sturgeon’s agriculture minister has bowed to demands he bypass a “flawed” £178 million computer system to get millions of pounds of support to Scotland’s farmers.
