Scottish Police provided with bank details of workers on the failing Scottish Government CAP system who are alleged to be channeling charity donations to India through personal bank accounts

A series of emails that were allegedly distributed using the Scottish Government email system are reported to have been handed to the Scottish Police after they encouraged workers at Scottish Government premises to channel charitable donations through the personal bank accounts of a selection of named individuals.

One worker at the Scottish Government in an email points out that there are a number of official registered charities that specifically deal with foreign charities dealing with such issues as the flooding in India, before going on to state: “I’m sure. I’ve literally never seen the suggestion before that charity donations should be passed through somebody’s personal bank account”

The Scottish Police have confirmed receipt of the material.
