Scottish Government in feasibility study to acquire English Rural Payment System?

We reported rumours last month that the Scottish Government were considering scrapping the AFRC CAP Rural Payments system after spending over £200m because they had lost all faith in it!

The latest rumours coming out of U1 Spur where all the management can be seen preening themselves is that a delegation is heading off on an all expenses paid trip to Reading where they are to look at the English Land Parcel Information System (LPIS).

According to our sources, the scrapping of the Scottish CAP System is being considered more seriously as the days go by – and with the loss of the Italian backup plan, LPIS is the next desperate attempt to save face.
