Wow.  One of our first adverts just been released by Maya onto Facebook, to the Java Developer Community.  Bearing in mind she’s also connected to 2,400 Bangoloreans in London alone and other groups as well – these Muggles over here won’t know what’s hit them when I take control of this project.

Hiring Java Development Technical Lead with strong Java experience from at least 10 years commercial experience. This role requires diagnosis of significant performance problems, and an excellent understanding of Java EE architecture is essential. Supporting the Performance Test Team, this role will require a proactive and self-starting individual to investigate, diagnose and resolve performance problems. Specific technical skills include:
– Java EE
– Use of Java profilers ideally JProfiler
– SOA and integration via an ESB
– XML/XSLT
– Agile development experience, ideally SCRUM
– Experience of test driven development and continuous integration
– Code instrumentation and monitoring techniques to support application performance monitoring
– JBoss Developer Studio or similar (e.g. Eclipse IDE)
The Idea Candidate should hold the following soft skills
– Experience of leading a multi-disciplined team in an Agile environment
– Pro-Active self starter
– Experience of working on-site with client staff
– Excellent communication skills
– A structured approach to problem diagnosis and resolution
Job Type: 6 months Contract (Rolling)
