Nicola Sturgeon is apparently furious at the leaking of her plans to form a Coalition with Spectromax to avail herself of cheap immigrant Politicians who do not claim expenses.
Speaking to a small audience outside Saughton House because all available Visitor Passes had been given to Spectromax and so she was not allowed to enter the building, Sturgeon said, “These rumours of our using cheap immigrant Politicians from Spectromax are completely unfounded. We only use Spectromax for Government IT Systems and then only do that when we can distance ourselves from them contractually and blame somebody else.”
“Politicians are a vital part of the Scottish economy.” she continued, “It is completely out of the question that such important, experienced and highly skilled individuals should be replaced by immigrant workers simply because they are cheaper. I wholeheartedly disagree with replacing highly skilled Scottish Politicians with cheap immigrant Politicians.”
“This is not about race,” she continued, “Indeed our politicians are from all ethnic backgrounds but they have one thing in common – they are all part of the resident workforce. They are politicians who are from the UK, who have families in the UK, who pay UK taxes and who have a UK cost of living. UK Politicians are paid a rate that is appropriate for their skills and experience. It is completely out of the question that an Immigrant Politician should take the job of a resident UK Politician simply because they are cheaper, and certainly not on a Tier 2 Visa.”
When asked why she was not this passionate about the jobs of UK IT Workers within Scottish Government, Sturgeon added, “That’s different, they’re not Politicians.”
